hi . here to share something abt moulds growing on my damai handbook
ms poh said it was disgusting . I don't know why .
But when my handbook was wet (because of the stupid rain and my water bottle)
i just left it in my bag for days and the next time i took it out .
I saw little blackish-greenish spots on the front and back covers of it .
It has completely the same concept as the way we grow moulds on our bread :]
I'm lame , i know .

Here are some stuff we can consume to treat the problem of stomaches producing excessive acids:
1. Antacids
These are usually liquids or chewable tablets which are made to neutralise the acid in your stomach and to ‘mop up' any excess acid.
2. Rafting agents
These are usually liquids that once in the stomach, form a ‘raft' by sitting on top of the acid and so, preventing it from escaping into the oesophagus. Rafting agents can also be referred to by their technical name - alginates.
3. Acid balancers
These tablets control the amount of acid your stomach produces and bring it back to your normal level. They are also long-lasting, helping9 you stay symptom-free for up to 12 hours. Because of the way they work they can be taken to prevent the problem from happening in the first place. So, when you know you're going to eat or drink something that triggers the problem, taking an acid balancer can help prevent an attack from happening.

hello here again , just to info abt the 3 types of acidic food that ppl should avoid .
First things first , humans should not take in too much acidic food
as it is may pose as a negative effect towards our body :}
Here's some example of acidic food .
1.Dairy productsThese foods include of butter, cheese, cream, custards, eggs and yogurt.
They are filled with hormones, pesticide residues, microforms, mycotoxins, and
saturated fats. Layer on top of all those goodies milk sugar (lactose) that breaks down
like any sugar and feeds harmful microforms.
Cheese and yogurt are made by fermentation. And dairy is the leader of all foods in forming sticky mucus. It is highly acid-forming. Furthermore, pasteurization destroys the beneficial enzymes milk starts out with.
2.Meat and Poultry productsThis category of meat, chicken, beef, shellfish, lamb, pork and turkey.
Meat and poultry and their by-products are highly acidic foods. The animals feed on stored grain and pass along all the associated problems in their meat.
3.BeveragesAlcohol, coffee, black tea, sodas and concentrated juices all have a negative effect on your body's pH level.
All these products produce a lot of acid and a lot of mucus.
All of these acidic foods can affect the pH balance in your body in a very negative way. A healthy human body is slightly alkaline measuring 7.4 approximately. This ideal blood measurement means that it is slightly more alkaline than acid.
If a person's blood pH moves to even slightly below 6.8 or slightly above 7.8, the body's cells stop functioning and the patient will die. The ideal pH for blood is 7.4 .

Harmful effects of consuming too much acid :
As soda pop becomes the beverage of choice among the nation's youth, and as soda marketers focus on brand-building among ever-younger consumers, we are all faced with nagging questions:
How healthful are these drinks, which provide a lot of
sugars, calories and caffeine but no significant nutritional value? And what happens if you drink a lot of them at a very young age?
Soda pop and
obesity in youthOne recent independent peer-reviewed study demonstrates a strong link between soda pop consumption and
childhood obesity(1).
Explanations of the mechanism through which soda pop may lead to obesity have not been proven yet, although the evidence for them is strong.
Many people have long assumed that soda,
high in sugar and calories and low in nutrients, can make children fat.
Soda pop and tooth decay
Tooth decay is one detrimental health effect of soda pop which even the soft drink industry admits to. In a carefully worded statement, the National Soft Drink Association claims that "there is no scientific evidence that consumption of
sugars in soft drinks per se has any negative effect other than dental caries."
Soda pop and bone weakening
The active ingredient in most soda pop is phosphoric acid. The pH of most soda pop is 2.8, which is very acidic. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.
